This module was released after 7 months of co-development with 17 Passageways customers and allows portal users to easily design electronic forms and import existing forms such as brochures into the e-forms library. The e-forms library allows portal users to organize and maintain all their forms in one central location. Users of e-forms builder can submit a form for automated processing and approval, if needed. This is just one more way the Passageway Portal Solution is used to centralize and automate organizational information and processes.

Two more new portal functions were also showcased – Passageways Performance Dashboards and Passageways Knowledge Management System.

Christopher Beltran, Co-Founder of Passageways delivered the final presentation and introduced groundbreaking new portal concepts. This was a precursor to the development of the next generation of Passageways portal solution, code named Nambe.

“We are very satisfied with the conference outcome, as were PowWOW attendees. Over 80% of the attendees ranked their PowWOW experience either a 9 or 10 (on a scale of 1-10). The new ideas everyone shared and discussed are truly a testament to the entire Passageways community!” says Paroon Chadha, Co-Founder Passageways.

Tech Corner: Using Anchors in Rich Text Editor

If you create a Rich Text Editor island that contains a lengthy amount of content you may wish to create anchors to redirect your users. It is important to note; however, that you must create anchors a little differently when using the Rich Text Editor than in standard html. For example, if your anchor tag is #top, in html you would simply place the anchor tag top behind your text you wish to anchor.

In this situation, the Rich Text Editor is designed to auto-complete the URL to http://passageways/Modules/Standard/Islands/PWRichTextEditor/Editcontent.aspx?ObjectID=#ReturnUrl=LayoutManagers%2fGridLayout%2fIslandOptions.aspx%3fPageID#top, for example, and incorrectly direct users to the Actions Menu Edit mode of the island regardless of user permissions.

It is recommended that any links or anchors in the Rich Text Editor utilize full URLs.

Use the Rich Text Editor's Hyperlink Manager button Hyperlink Managerlocated on the Rich Text Editor toolbar. Please see instructions below:

1.

Select the text that you wish to be your anchor.

2.

Click on the Hyperlink Manager button and select the Anchor tab.

3.

Type your anchor name (for example: if you wish to relocate your users back to the top of the page, you could use #top as your anchor name). Click OK.

4.

Select the text you wish to be your link to your anchor. (For example: "return to top").

5.

Obtain your full page URL: Right-click on the page link on the navigation tree and select "Copy Shortcut."

6.

Click on the Hyperlink Manager button. Select the Hyperlink tab.

7.

Paste the full page URL into the URL field.

8.

Select the Anchor tab and type the same anchor name (ex: #top). Click OK.

9.

Be sure to click OK at the bottom of your Rich Text Editor to save changes.
