PowWOW Update:
The newest version of the Passageways Portal Framework, code-named Nambé will be
released at PowWOW!
A series of sessions will be dedicated to answering your questions, Passageways staff will be on-site to answer any questions you might have, and physical handouts or CDs will be provided with migration information, pricing information, development information, and more!

The Passageways fourth annual Advanced User and Development Conference is quickly approaching! Registration is filling up fast and the agenda is shaping up nicely. Passageways Forms Alliance with CU*Answers
Passageways is proud to announce an alliance with CU*Answers, a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based technology and consulting Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO), to provide the Passageways Corporate Portal Framework as the default communications portal for its credit union core processing system users.
CU*Answers will use Passageways Corporate Portal Framework internally among its 120 employees and will offer the portal framework to its 130 credit union clients in a hosted environment from CU*Answers’ headquarters. The platform is offered across various CU*Answers solutions including: CU*BASE, a member data processing system; It’s Me 247, an online banking solution; CU*EasyPay!, an online bill payment solution and CU*TALK, a voice response solution.
CU*Answers and Passageways have worked together to jointly construct a medium for credit unions to effectively collaborate internally and with their industry associates,” said Randy Karnes, CEO of CU*Answers. “Using this technology, credit union employees are able to communicate and collaborate with a wide peer group with appropriate checks, balances and safety features in place. For CU*Answers, selecting a portal partner included evaluating various portal applications and the vendors’ service philosophies within, and even outside of the credit union industry. Passageways Co-Founder, Paroon Chadha
wins Top 10 under 40 Award
This past month, Passageways Co-Founder, VP Sales and Implementation, Paroon Chadha was named one of "10 Young Professionals Under 40" by Tippy Connect, an organization that provides individuals between the ages of 22 and 39 with opportunities to get involved in the local community. Paroon is shown above with a plaque as he is recognized during the second annual Tippy Connect Top 10 under 40 awards.
"It's great that the community is recognizing people who have shown some initiative," he said after receiving the award. "I came from across the world and have found this community very hard to leave. It's also great to give a pat on the back to young people, who sometimes need it."
Paroon was chosen from a pool of 70 nominees, which included Christopher Beltran, Co-Founder, VP Product Development of Passageways.
Your Opinion Counts!
We need your help – our development teams need input from time to time on how features should be implemented within the Passageways Portal. To get this feedback we are creating a group of expert users for the Portal framework (which includes the Group Collaboration Module) and each of the other modules: Help Desk, eForms Builder, Expense Reporting, Products and Services, etc.
These expert groups will have access to a discussion forum and will be the first group of customers that we contact for beta testing and early feedback on the releases in their area of expertise.

Code-name: Nambé - get ready for the next version
of the Passageways Portal Framework
In order to take advantage of the new ASP.NET Themes functionality, Nambe will include full support for ASP.NET Themes and Skins and will include several built-in themes upon release. For developers wanting to better prepare for the upcoming Nambe Release, one small thing you can do is to ensure you have the following tag in all of your .aspx files This tag is needed for the Theming feature to work correctly.
