Passageways Adds 2 New Employees
Ben Prickel - Marketing Associate
Ben Prickel joins Passageways as our Marketing Associate. Prior to this, he was
working with the Indiana Credit Union league and Purdue Employees FCU in various
capacities. Always the artistic and creative person, he enjoyed and excelled in
art classes throughout his school years at Harrison High School in West Lafayette,
IN. Ben went on to higher education at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN where
he was art major, a psychology minor and had an area of concentration in business.
Self-taught in graphic design programs and HTML code, Ben is an artist whose pallet
is the computer screen. This love for art and self-start attitude is now going to
be directed towards the marketing activities at Passageways.
Neal Niemeyer- Sales Associate
Neal Niemeyer joined Passageways on June 7th in the Sales Associate position. He
will be graduating from Purdue University in December 2007 with a degree in Selling
and Sales Management and a minor in Economics. At Purdue he is a member of the Delta
Chi social fraternity and Pi Sigma Epsilon sales and marketing fraternity. Neal
is a sports enthusiast who enjoys playing football, softball, ultimate Frisbee,
snowboarding, and working on his golf game. He also has a long time passion for
music and spends much of his time listening to new bands and playing the guitar.
Neal is hoping to join the Passageways sales team full time after graduation and
aid them in reaching new landmark goals!

Approvals

Tech Corner: Upload Images into my Rich Text Editor
The Rich Text Editor gives you the ability to upload images into an Image Manager when placed on a workgroup page in the portal. The images are then stored to a specified location and can be used by all workgroup managers/assistant managers with permissions until the images are removed from the Image Manager.
This Image Manager feature is not available in Rich Text Editor islands that are placed on My Pages or Rich Text Editors on the email or group announcement functions. In these cases, you will notice the Upload tab is “grayed out” or unavailable. Although this may seem like a “glitch,” it is simply because My Pages are not meant to be shared and group announcements and/or emails are not used multiple times. If you are trying to upload images into the Rich Text Editor on a workgroup page and the tab is “grayed out” it is most likely an incorrect module property. Please contact your Portal Administrator if you do not have access to the Tools area.
So can images still be placed in your Rich Text Editor island on a My Page/email/group Announcement? Certainly! You would simply find a web-based image (for example: search the web for images), right-click on the image, and select “copy.” Then go into your Rich Text Editor island and click on the clip board or use your shortcut key, Ctrl+v. Your image will then be placed on your page.
